Chembai Trust - Chembai Sangeetholsavam
Chembai Sangeetholsavam, organised by Chembai Trust, Sreevaraham, will be held on September 6, 2026, at the Chembai Memorial Hall, Sreevaraham, Thiruvananthapuram. The Sangeetholsavam will commence at 8:00 AM.
Online registration for participation in the Sangeetharchana has started on August 10, 2026.
To participate in the Sangeetharchana, applicants must have at least five years of training in Carnatic music. Applicants must list ten compositions they are familiar with in the application. One composition selected by the organising committee from this list must be rendered within five minutes. Raga alapana, swara kalpana and niraval are not permitted.
A photograph must be submitted along with the application, and the applicant’s phone number must also be provided.
The minimum age for participation is 10 years. Applicants who have completed 10 years of age as of August 1, 2026, are eligible to participate in the Sangeetholsavam.
Approved Categories of Presentation
- Vocal – Solo / Group (maximum 5 participants)
- String Instruments
- Wind Instruments, including keyboard and harmonium
Participants must report at the venue one hour before their allotted slot.
Along with the invitation letter (soft copy or hard copy), participants must mandatorily carry:
- A copy of their identity card
- A certificate from their Guru confirming their musical training
